@pendle_fi @RobinhoodCrypto More ways to separate yield exposure on Robinhood Chain. Fixed yield in an accounting asset isn't a fixed dollar value; price protection addresses a different risk, and that's the layer we're testing at PUTGO.
Pendle is live on Robinhood Chain by @RobinhoodCrypto This means Robinhood Chain users can now lock in fixed yield, take leveraged exposure to the yield of their favourite coins, or earn fees & rewards by providing liquidity. We're excited to be building on one of the most https://t.co/4ayd44eTaI

High attention and emotional sentiment detected.
Pendle then repeated the news in a follow-up post on September 7. The first market is sNET, a staked form of NET. It matures on 17 September 2026, and more markets will follow as the ecosystem expands.
Pendle on Robinhood Chain gives the network its first dedicated venue for trading future yield. Until now, the chain leaned on lending and swaps for on-chain returns.
The move matters because a regulated broker built Robinhood Chain. So a DeFi-native yield protocol here plugs a familiar crypto primitive into a chain that targets mainstream users. As a result, traders can now lock in fixed rates or bet on variable yield.
Pendle framed the launch as live on Robinhood Chain by @RobinhoodCrypto. Notably, no separate Robinhood blog post covered the integration. So the announcement rests mainly on Pendle’s own posts.
Pendle co-founder TN Lee welcomed the move on X. He posted a short “Hello Robinhood” as the news spread across the ecosystem.
The debut market is sNET, the staked version of NET. NET is a reserve-backed token from NetNet Capital, and it is native to Robinhood Chain. NetNet Capital backs NET with reserves, which anchors its staked yield.
This first sNET market matures on 17 September 2026. That window runs just two weeks from the launch. So some observers read it as a test market, not a flagship pool.
For now, sNET is the only highlighted market. Still, Pendle says more pools will arrive as it expands across the ecosystem.
Pendle takes a yield-bearing asset and splits it into two parts. First, there is the Principal Token, or PT. Then there is the Yield Token, or YT.
PT gives fixed-yield exposure. It trades at a discount and redeems one-to-one at maturity, so buyers lock in a known rate. Meanwhile, YT holds the claim on all future yield, which offers leveraged exposure to that yield. At maturity, PT redeems fully for the underlying asset.
Liquidity providers form the third option. They supply assets to the Pendle pool, and in return they earn swap fees plus rewards. These tools now run on the chain. So Robinhood Chain users can pursue fixed, variable, or fee-based strategies here.
The PENDLE token reacted to the news. It closed near $1.92 on September 4. It then climbed toward the $2.10 to $2.13 range, a reported gain of about 10% to 11%.
Trading volume also rose, reaching tens of millions of dollars per day in some datasets. At the same time, Pendle’s overall total value locked stood near $1.23 billion, according to secondary coverage.
Robinhood Chain’s own TVL figures looked less consistent. For instance, some reports cited above $1.4 billion, while one community post put it near $908 million. None of this is financial advice, so readers should verify live figures first.
Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum Layer-2 on the Arbitrum Orbit stack. It uses ETH for gas, targets block times near 100 milliseconds, and carries Chain ID 4663.
The chain went to public mainnet on 1 July 2026, after a testnet earlier in the year. Robinhood designed it for tokenized stocks, the USDG stablecoin from Paxos, and DeFi apps such as Uniswap and Morpho.
Because the network is permissionless and EVM-compatible, builders can deploy freely. Therefore Pendle’s arrival fits the broader plan to bring Robinhood’s retail base on-chain. Users can also bridge assets to the chain through Stargate, per Pendle’s posts.
Timeline: Robinhood Chain progressed from an initial tokenization concept to a live L2, followed by Pendle’s launch of yield-trading markets on the network.
Robinhood first surfaces plans for its own blockchain, initially focused on tokenized stocks.
Robinhood Chain’s public testnet goes live on the Arbitrum Orbit/Nitro stack ahead of mainnet.
The permissionless L2 goes live with Uniswap, Morpho, Chainlink, BitGo and Alchemy among its initial ecosystem partners.
Robinhood Chain sees rapid activity across DEXs, lending, memecoins and tokenized assets, while liquidity and ecosystem integrations grow.
Pendle launches with sNET as its first market, enabling fixed-yield, leveraged-yield and liquidity strategies.
Pendle highlights the live deployment and its ability to lock fixed yield, gain leveraged yield exposure, or provide liquidity.
The initial sNET market matures, with additional Pendle markets and assets expected as Robinhood Chain’s ecosystem expands.
Several details remain unclear. Public coverage did not confirm the exact Pendle contract addresses or deployment transactions. So users should check the official Blockscout explorer directly.
Critics also raise broader concerns about the chain itself. Robinhood runs a single sequencer, which points to centralization. And early activity leaned on memecoins rather than the stated real-world-asset thesis.
Analysts further question whether the chain’s TVL and volume reflect real demand or incentives. In short, the launch looks promising, yet real usage will decide its impact.
The next signal to watch is fresh markets beyond sNET. Pendle has promised more pools, so the roadmap will show its true commitment to the chain. A deeper push could bring longer-dated markets and more assets.
Traders should also watch whether the short sNET maturity draws real liquidity. Meanwhile, data on the Blockscout explorer will reveal actual usage as the two-week market runs its course.
For now, Pendle on Robinhood Chain marks another step in the chain’s DeFi build-out. The coming weeks will test whether fixed yield finds an audience on a broker-built L2.
