Aleph Zero, a blockchain ecosystem focused on privacy and efficiency, has launched its new Ethereum-compatible layer-2 solution on its mainnet. This launch integrates Arbitrum Orbit technology and zkOS tools to revolutionize blockchain privacy and speed.
Mainnet Features and Implications
The Aleph Zero EVM L2, built in collaboration with rollup-as-a-service (RaaS) provider Gelato, uses Arbitrum Orbit technology. This new mainnet is designed to accommodate Ethereum-compatible application development, providing users with an exceptionally fast and efficient blockchain. The network plans to introduce the zkOS privacy toolkit in Q4, reducing ZK proving time and integrating privacy features into blockchain applications.
Aleph Zero’s $50 Million Funding Program
On April 18, Aleph Zero announced a $50 million funding program to support developer teams building on its platform and to boost global blockchain adoption. The Aleph Zero Foundation, a nonprofit organization, oversees this program, which aims to attract developers with support beyond grants.
