Verb Technology and Satsuma Technology Lead Weekly Crypto Fundraising, Ripple Acquires Rail for $200M

Verb Technology raised $558 million in a private placement, securing backing from more than 110 institutional and crypto-native investors including Kingsway Capital, Vy Capital, Blockchain.com, Ribbit Capital, and Kraken. The Las Vegas-based firm, formerly an AI-powered SaaS provider, is pivoting entirely to The Open Network (TON) ecosystem. Upon closing the deal around August 7, Verb plans to rebrand as TON Strategy Co. and position itself among the largest holders of Toncoin ($TON) globally.

The funds will primarily be used to acquire $TON and stake it to generate sustainable rewards. Executive Chairman-designate Manuel Stotz described $TON as a high-potential asset powering the Telegram ecosystem, well-suited for long-term permanent capital vehicles.

Other Raises In Crypto

Satsuma Technology, a UK-listed AI infrastructure company, raised $217.6 million in a round led by Haun Ventures, Pantera, and Blockchain.com. The raise brings its total funding to $352.6 million, reinforcing institutional interest in its hybrid AI–blockchain model.

Another major development was Ripple’s $200 million acquisition of Rail, a fiat-stablecoin infrastructure platform that processes over 10% of global B2B stablecoin transactions. The acquisition aligns with Ripple’s strategy to expand enterprise-grade payment capabilities and enhance cross-border settlements.
