Ondo Finance acquires Strangelove to boost its full-stack RWA platform, enhancing blockchain infrastructure and onboarding new product leadership.

July 15, 2025 — Ondo Finance has acquired blockchain development firm Strangelove, a move aimed at accelerating the development of a full-stack real-world asset (RWA) platform and expanding its technical capabilities.
Strangelove, known for its work on protocol development, interoperability tools, and validator infrastructure, will integrate into Ondo’s core team. The acquisition enhances Ondo’s ability to design and deploy secure, scalable blockchain systems tailored for RWA use cases.
With this acquisition, Ondo becomes one of the few firms offering a truly full-stack solution—combining asset issuance, protocol design, and blockchain development under one roof. This positioning will be critical as global demand grows for institutional-grade, tokenized financial products.
As part of the deal, Strangelove CEO Jack Zampolin will join Ondo Finance as Vice President of Product. Zampolin previously led product development for multiple L1 chains and interoperability platforms, making him a key addition to Ondo’s leadership as it prepares to launch its own blockchain.
Zampolin emphasized that the partnership will accelerate the creation of onchain infrastructure needed to scale RWAs, while Ondo CEO Nathan Allman highlighted the synergy between Strangelove’s engineering depth and Ondo’s mission.
The acquisition reinforces Ondo’s broader strategy to modernize capital markets using blockchain technology. By integrating Strangelove’s infrastructure capabilities, Ondo aims to bring scalable, compliant RWA products to a global audience.
The firm plans to leverage this engineering base to launch a dedicated blockchain optimized for tokenized financial products.
