MYX Finance integrates Chainlink Data Streams and DataLink to launch permissionless perpetual markets across EVM chains.

October 28, 2025 – In a decisive move for decentralized finance, MYX Finance has partnered with Chainlink to build the next generation of permissionless perpetual markets. The integration leverages Chainlink’s Data Streams and DataLink to deliver real-time, tamper-proof price feeds directly on-chain. This marks a pivotal shift for traders across EVM-compatible blockchains, enabling open, trustless, and high-speed perpetual trading without the gatekeepers or intermediaries that dominate traditional finance. The collaboration positions MYX Finance as one of the most advanced DeFi derivatives protocols to date, aligning with the growing demand for secure, transparent, and automated market infrastructure.
At the center of this MYX Chainlink integration are Chainlink’s Data Streams and DataLink, two technologies built to solve DeFi’s toughest technical problems: latency, manipulation, and data fragmentation.
Data Streams deliver continuous, sub-second pricing updates for perpetual contracts. This ensures that traders on MYX receive live market data with precision that rivals centralized exchanges.
DataLink, on the other hand, allows MYX to seamlessly pull verified data from multiple external sources. It aggregates and authenticates this information through , guaranteeing consistency and preventing price distortion or exploits.
By merging these two systems, MYX Finance can now offer a global, permissionless trading layer across Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and other EVM chains. This setup eliminates dependency on single-point APIs or intermediaries, creating a trustless system for high-frequency trading.

What are Perpetual Futures?
Perpetuals are derivative contracts that allow traders to speculate on the price of assets without expiry dates. They mimic futures but stay open indefinitely, maintained by funding rates—periodic payments between long and short traders to keep prices aligned with the spot market.
Why are Oracles Important?
Oracles supply blockchains with off-chain information such as crypto prices, enabling perpetual contracts to calculate positions and liquidations accurately. Poor oracle data can lead to false liquidations or market manipulation.
For new users, start by testing perpetual trading in low-risk environments such as testnets. Learn to monitor funding rates and understand leverage exposure before scaling up. These tools empower safer participation in a market now exceeding $100 billion in daily volume.
