May 23, 2025 – Mubert, the AI music platform known for its vast library of over 100 million tracks, is expanding its ecosystem to Polkadot. The platform, which serves over 1.5 million creators and is used by major brands like Canva, Adidas, and FIFA, will now develop a Polkadot rollup aimed at bringing transparent content ownership and real-time licensing to the creative media industry.
The integration with Polkadot will enable Mubert to create a decentralized system that reclaims value for artists, developers, and dataset contributors who power the platform’s AI-driven music creation. This move is designed to foster greater transparency in content ownership and streamline the licensing process, benefiting both creators and users.
In the long term, Mubert plans to expand its offerings into other forms of creative content, including video, text, and immersive media, positioning itself as a foundational layer for creative content in sectors like apps, gaming, and interactive experiences.
Mubert’s decision to build on Polkadot reflects the platform’s commitment to scalability and decentralized ownership. With Polkadot’s multi-chain framework and focus on interoperability, Mubert aims to leverage the network’s strengths to scale its services and integrate with other blockchain ecosystems seamlessly.
With this expansion, Mubert is laying the groundwork for a new paradigm in the creative media space, where ownership is clear, licensing is automated, and artists and creators can directly benefit from their contributions. As the platform evolves, it seeks to become a key player in shaping the future of interactive media and content creation, powered by AI and blockchain technology.
Mubert’s move to Polkadot is a significant step towards empowering creators and ensuring that they are rewarded fairly for their contributions in the growing digital content landscape.
