South African crypto exchange Luno has announced its integration with Fireblocks, a leading enterprise-grade digital asset transfer platform. This partnership marks a significant step towards enhancing Luno’s transaction capabilities and user experience.

The Allure of Fireblocks Integration

On July 17, Luno revealed that it would leverage Fireblocks’ technology to enable fast, seamless digital asset transactions. By integrating with Fireblocks Network Link—a platform designed for developing apps and managing digital assets—Luno users can now perform transactions without needing to log into their accounts repeatedly.

This integration not only connects Luno users to over 1,800 liquidity partners, trading platforms, and counterparties but also brings institutional-grade efficiency to their transactions. Aleks Andjelopolj, Luno’s General Manager for Retail and Institutional Products, highlighted that Fireblocks’ technology allows users to experience immediate transaction settlements akin to those enjoyed by traditional banking customers. The integration ensures that Luno can offer cost-effective, compliant transactions while maintaining full control over user experience and permissions.

HTX’s Integration with Fireblocks Off Exchange

Global crypto exchange HTX has also integrated Fireblocks Off Exchange to bolster digital asset security and streamline global compliance operations. This move employs the multi-party computation (MPC) technology to significantly reduce counterparty risk in over-the-counter transactions.

Enhanced Security and User Experience

With this integration, HTX aims to improve the trading experience by offering instant transfers, payments, and other operations directly through users’ HTX accounts. Justin Sun, a prominent figure in the crypto space, emphasized that the collaboration will enhance the security of HTX’s trading environment and provide a superior user experience.
