@dexteraisol @solana @x402 At this rate agents are gonna have better payment infrastructure than humans by June.
NEW: Dexter is now the first x402 facilitator capable of verifying and settling @solana smart wallet payments! This is a major step forward for agentic commerce on SVM. Squads, Crossmint, SWIG, on-chain agents... If it can hold USDC, it can now pay with @x402. https://t.co/kyrkMngWIY

@dexteraisol @solana @x402 so if I have an agent on base, I can call some service on solana and still pay on base?

Steady attention without excessive speculation.
The x402 protocol was introduced by Coinbase in May 2025 as a native internet payment layer built around the HTTP 402 Payment Required status code. It enables instant micropayments for APIs, data services, and AI applications using stablecoins such as USDC.
By early 2026, the system had processed more than 37 million transactions and over $50 million in volume, with most activity occurring on Solana due to its fast finality and low transaction costs.
Dexter AI launched in late 2025 as an AI agent platform on Solana offering trading, analytics, and automation tools. It later evolved into a payment facilitator for x402, handling verification, signing, and settlement for decentralized payments. The platform has processed millions of transactions and now leads x402 settlement volume on Solana.
Dexter AI has upgraded its facilitator infrastructure to support direct payments from Solana smart wallets holding USDC. This includes program-controlled accounts, Crossmint custodial wallets, Squads multisig vaults, and other smart wallets operating on the Solana Virtual Machine.
The upgrade removes the need for bridging or off-chain conversion. Payments can now be executed directly on Solana and settled across networks where needed, allowing developers to build agent-driven applications that interact with payment rails natively.
The new facilitator upgrade introduces native support for smart wallets across Solana and EVM ecosystems. Dexter verifies transaction signatures, executes settlement on-chain, and streams confirmations in real time.
The system supports:
The infrastructure also includes cross-chain settlement, allowing payments sent on Solana to be received on EVM chains without manual bridging.
With Dexter AI becoming the first x402 facilitator to support Solana smart wallet payments, developers can now deploy autonomous agents that can pay for services, APIs, and onchain utilities without user interaction.
This enables monetization for:
The result is a fully automated economic layer where AI agents can transact independently using stablecoins.
