Steady attention without excessive speculation.
The Inception testnet follows DAC’s earlier technical testnet, which went live on January 6, 2026. While that initial phase focused on node operators, Inception instead targets everyday users. As a result, all activity on the DAC Quantum Chain testnet transfers to what the project calls its “Interstellar Mainnet.” That includes Quantum Energy (QE), badges, and leaderboard rank.
DAC Quantum Chain is a Layer 1 blockchain. It claims to use patented Proof of Quantum Work (PoQW) and Quantum Entropy for post-quantum security. According to the project, this goes beyond standard quantum-resistant signatures. In addition, it targets real-world asset tokenization, DeFi, AI applications, and data validation.
The chain runs a dual-asset model. DACT is an Ethereum-based token with a fixed supply of 1 billion. It powers ecosystem value, node activation, and premium services. Meanwhile, DACC is the native coin for transactions, gas fees, and node rewards. Gas costs on the testnet sit at roughly 0.0001 DACC per transaction.
DAC’s infrastructure derives from Quadrans, an open-source blockchain project. A planned hard fork will separate DAC into a fully independent chain. The project also outlines an 18-month roadmap to mainnet, including quantum wrapping of legacy assets.
Users can join by visiting inception.dachain.io and connecting an EVM-compatible wallet. Once registered, participants earn Quantum Energy through on-chain and off-chain actions.
QE is the core metric of the testnet. According to DAC, it simulates mainnet mechanics rather than functioning as a simple points system. Because of this, every unit of QE earned now carries forward to mainnet. Earned badges and leaderboard position carry forward as well.
The testnet faucet distributes 1 DACC every 8 hours. Users can then burn DACC for QE at a rate of 1 to 1,000. A small fee from each burn goes to stakers. Staking DACC also earns a share of QE from every future burn.
Quantum Crates offer another earning path. Users can open up to 5 per day, and each contains QE, DACC, and multipliers. Referrals, however, represent the highest-yield off-chain action. Each verified referral earns 250 QE plus 1 DACC. At scale, 100 referrals produce 25,000 QE and 100 DACC.
In addition, badges unlock through on-chain activity. Creating a wallet, sending tokens, completing a first swap, or bridging assets all count. Some badges provide QE multipliers that boost future earnings. For example, the Gold Early Badge grants a 1.5x multiplier to Q-Chip and Keycard holders.
A live leaderboard tracks all rankings from launch day. Pre-waitlist QE already appears on the board, so early participants hold a head start over new joiners.
DAC also runs a Keycard system through its Discord server. New members start at Level 1 Clearance, which unlocks up to 1,000 QE. Reaching 50 verified referrals upgrades a user to Level 2 with up to 2,000 QE. At 100 referrals, Level 3 opens up to 3,000 QE.
Activation requires following @dac_chain on X, posting the Keycard image, and then pasting the tweet link in Discord. As a result, higher tiers grant bigger multipliers and bonus QE. These lock in for both testnet and mainnet phases.
DAC has not confirmed a formal token airdrop or TGE. The TGE date remains TBA. Still, community trackers like airdrops.io treat DAC as a potential airdrop opportunity. They point to its QE system, Keycard tiers, and multiplier structure as signals.
Standard early-farm risks apply here. No third party has audited the project’s quantum-proof claims. DAC’s “first quantum-proof blockchain” label also needs context, since projects like QRL already offer quantum-resistant features. Beyond that, the DACC emission schedule past testnet rewards remains unclear.
Users reported launch-day bugs on April 18. Slow loading times and interface errors affected the platform. The team responded actively, but instability may continue. Only official links from dachain.tech should be trusted, since scam risk runs higher for new testnets.
The Inception testnet should run for about one month, according to community reports. DAC has not pinned an exact end date in the official announcement. After the testnet concludes, all accumulated activity transitions into the mainnet launch.
The testnet explorer already tracks blocks, transactions, and addresses in real time. Node binaries and documentation are available at dachain.tech for infrastructure-level participants.
Whether DAC’s quantum security claims hold up will depend on future third-party audits and deeper technical disclosure. For now, the Inception testnet opens a window for users who want to position early on a project that could reward participation at mainnet.
