@solana @sunrise @Backpack This is a strong bridge narrative because it starts with a company mainstream audiences already know, then introduces the onchain benefit. The next content layer should explain custody, access and user experience in plain language.

High attention and emotional sentiment detected.
So the maker of one of gamingās biggest franchises now trades onchain, around the clock. Solanaās official account confirmed the launch to its 4 million followers. According to Sunrise, the share now trades on every Solana wallet and app, 24 hours a day.
The new instrument is a tokenized TTWO stock, not a synthetic bet. Each token maps to one real NASDAQ share of Take-Two. Backpack Securities holds those shares in custody, and the token represents a direct claim on them.
Backpack confirmed the details on X. The token is redeemable 1:1 for Take-Two shares. It also transfers to traditional brokerages, and it trades across both Solana and Nasdaq.
Backpack and Sunrise both confirmed one official mint address: TTWofwAge91oFhZs7kpQdyrVRkmevgM88xijGvQFbKo. Always verify that address before buying. Fake token mints are common on Solana, so a wrong address can drain a wallet.
The mechanism is simpler than it sounds. First, Backpack Securities buys and custodies real Take-Two shares. These sit as security entitlements under New York UCC Article 8, the same legal wrapper a normal brokerage uses.
Next, Backpack tokenizes each share 1:1 and mints it as a token on Solana. Because a real share backs every token, the peg holds through redemption. To exit, a holder redeems the token and the underlying entitlement returns to a traditional account.
Dividends flow through too. On the tokenized form, Backpack auto-reinvests dividends into additional tokens. Corporate actions then adjust balances to match. As a result, the token tracks the real equity closely, and arbitrage keeps its price aligned with Nasdaq.
Backpack founder Armani Ferrante has described the broader model plainly. He said the stocks are not wrappers but ābona fide security entitlements,ā the same thing a trader would get on a TradFi brokerage. The closest analogy, according to him, is ETH to stETH.
Key milestones in Backpack and Solanaās tokenized-stock rollout
Wormhole Labs introduces Sunrise to coordinate canonical asset listings, liquidity and distribution across Solana applications.
Backpack combines regulated brokerage infrastructure with tokenization, using UCC Article 8 security entitlements and established clearing and custody partners.
$SPCX becomes an early Backpack-issued security on Solana, introducing the platformās 1:1-backed and redeemable tokenization model.
Backpack and Sunrise add products including $MU, $SNDK, $DRAM, $MSTR and other equities or equity-linked instruments.
Backpack Securities issues tokenized Take-Two Interactive shares through Sunrise, backed and redeemable 1:1 for traditional TTWO shares.
Backpackās infrastructure is designed to support additional tokenized securities, although no complete future listing schedule has been disclosed.
The tokenized TTWO stock trades across the Solana ecosystem and on Backpack Exchange. That includes Raydium, Jupiter, Phantom, Kamino, and Titan, among others. So liquidity spans wallets, DEXs, and aggregators from day one.
Holders can also move the token off Solana entirely. Backpack lets users transfer the position into a traditional brokerage, which links the onchain form back to regular market rails. That two-way bridge is the feature Backpack leans on hardest.
Access, however, is not universal. Backpack restricts the token by jurisdiction under its compliance rules. Users in the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and Japan cannot access it. It also does not appear on Backpack EU.
Only eligible verified Backpack users in supported regions can trade the token. Backpack has not published the full list of eligible countries beyond those exclusions. So many retail traders, especially in the US, remain locked out for now.
The timing explains much of the hype. Take-Two ships Grand Theft Auto VI on 19 November 2026, one of the most anticipated launches in gaming. Now traders can hold exposure to that catalyst onchain.
The calendar gets busier still. Take-Two reports earnings on 7 August, just one day after the listing. Because the token trades 24/7, holders can react to that report instantly, even while Nasdaq is closed.
Early interest looked strong, though the data is thin. A Sunrise-affiliated post reported roughly $1.5 million in volume within the first 30 minutes. Backpackās earlier $SPCX listing, a tokenized SpaceX share, reportedly topped $1 billion in cumulative volume.
Take-Two tokenized $TTWO compared with traditional Nasdaq-listed TTWO shares
Real benefits come with real caveats. First, a token holder gets economic exposure, not registered ownership. So the token carries no shareholder voting rights, unlike a share held directly at a broker.
Custody and peg risk also matter. The 1:1 promise depends on Backpack holding the shares and honoring redemptions. If that process ever failed, the token could de-peg from the underlying equity.
Regulation adds another layer. The US exclusion signals real jurisdictional friction, and future enforcement could reshape access. Take-Two itself has not commented, and no press release from the company, 2K, or Rockstar has surfaced. Backpack, not Take-Two, issues the token.
The TTWO listing pushes a fast-moving trend forward. Backpack now competes with xStocks from Kraken and Backed Finance, plus Robinhood and Ondo, for tokenized equity share. Solana has held the majority of onchain tokenized-equity volume through prior periods.
For now, watch three markers: redemption reliability, secondary-market depth, and any word from Take-Two. Those signals will show whether the tokenized TTWO stock becomes a durable product or a launch-week spike.
