@saylor @Strategy Where on here does it show me how much bitcoin each share of MSTR holds claim to. After all preferreds and convertible debt obligations are paid for. The rest is noise.

@saylor @Strategy Great update! It may be helpful for some if there is a definition toggle, or description option to help people understand what each metric or measurement is, how it’s calculated, and the purpose of tracking it.

@saylor @Strategy This is the direction finance is moving. The interesting part isn’t just the Bitcoin holdings, it’s the framework being built around them. Strategy has created a model that allows investors to analyse Bitcoin exposure through traditional financial metrics like valuation, yield,

Strategy MSTR-BTC currently holds 843,775 BTC.
The dashboard launch followed a July 23 update that introduced Net Reserve, Net BTC, and Net BTC Per Share. These metrics account for the company’s growing use of preferred stock and other “digital credit” instruments.
Previously, investors often focused on Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings. However, gross BTC does not fully show how much value remains for common shareholders after debt and preferred claims.
Strategy has expanded its Bitcoin reporting framework since adopting BTC as a treasury reserve asset in August 2020. The company later introduced metrics such as BTC Yield, BTC Gain, BTC $ Gain, and mNAV.
Supporters argue that these measures help investors track Bitcoin accretion per share. Critics, however, say the expanding list of custom metrics creates unnecessary complexity, especially when MSTR underperforms Bitcoin or trades close to its underlying asset value.
Gross Reserve represents the full market value of Strategy’s Bitcoin holdings. Net Reserve adjusts that figure by subtracting selected debt and preferred-stock obligations while adding the company’s USD Reserve.
The dashboard also reports Bitcoin Per Share in satoshis and US dollars on both a gross and net basis. This matters because Strategy regularly issues shares and securities to fund additional Bitcoin purchases.
Therefore, rising total BTC does not automatically mean existing shareholders gain more Bitcoin exposure per share.
The dashboard now calculates mNAV using Net BTC Per Share. Strategy applies a 1.0x mNAV threshold when evaluating common-stock issuance. When MSTR trades above that level, the company can potentially sell shares and buy Bitcoin without reducing net BTC per share.
Amplification measures how the capital structure increases common equity’s sensitivity to Bitcoin price movements. Meanwhile, Floor, Breakeven, and Hurdle rates estimate the annual Bitcoin returns required to maintain coverage, create value, and support stronger credit characteristics.
Around July 24, Strategy MSTR-BTC reported a Gross Reserve near $57 billion and a Net Reserve of approximately $35 billion.
The company also reported roughly $6.75 billion in debt, $15.5 billion in preferred stock, and a USD Reserve of about $3.2 billion.
Net leverage stood near 7%, while mNAV hovered around 1.00x to 1.01x. Amplification reached approximately 1.54x, and annual interest and dividend obligations totaled about $1.76 billion.
These figures show that Strategy has built a long-duration, leveraged Bitcoin structure. However, its performance still depends on Bitcoin prices, financing costs, investor demand, and MSTR’s market premium.
The dashboard makes Strategy MSTR-BTC easier to analyze as a leveraged Bitcoin vehicle rather than a traditional software company. It shows when equity issuance may increase Bitcoin per share, how much BTC value remains after senior claims, and what Bitcoin returns the capital structure needs over time.
However, the dashboard does not remove risk. MSTR holders still face Bitcoin volatility, dilution, refinancing pressure, preferred dividends, and premium compression. Amplification also works both ways. It can strengthen upside during Bitcoin rallies, but it can magnify losses when BTC falls.
More broadly, Strategy may influence how other Bitcoin treasury companies report net reserves, leverage, and per-share BTC exposure. Still, investors will need consistent definitions before they can compare these metrics across the sector.
