Solflare Bridge brings permanent cross-chain deposit addresses to Solana, powered by Aurora and NEAR Intents, with 0% fees for 30 days.
Author: Kritika Gupta
29th July 2026- Solflare launched Bridge on Wednesday, a new in-wallet tool that turns cross-chain deposits into a save-once task. It gives each user a permanent deposit address. So funds from other chains land inside Solflare as native Solana assets, with no dApp connection needed.

NEAR Intents is now live on @solflare. Solflare Bridge, a new feature inside the wallet, lets users deposit assets from major chains and receive @solana assets directly, no extra wallet or dApp connection needed. @NEARProtocol @solflare @solana @auroraisnear For Near to survive, investors are essential, aren't they? If you drain the capital of retail investors and just walk away saying "I contributed to the ecosystem," how do you expect to stand? A blockchain cannot survive without its small investors. 🧵 #NEAR #Crypto

@NEARProtocol @solflare @solana @auroraisnear Nice, finally intents making cross-chain feel like one chain. No extra dApp login is huge.

Steady attention without excessive speculation.
The wallet announced Solflare Bridge in a thread on X at around 10:16 GMT. Users pick a source chain and asset, then pick a receiving token, then get their permanent address. After that, they simply send funds and the Solana asset arrives.
The design leans on intents rather than a traditional lock-and-mint bridge. In short, a user declares a desired outcome, and a network of solvers competes to fill it.
Aurora Intents supplies the execution layer here. Meanwhile, NEAR Intents handles routing and solver competition. Settlement then clears through a verifier contract on NEAR.
The permanent address is the key trick. Because the address itself encodes the intent, no wallet connect or extra approval is required. As a result, a user saves one address and reuses it forever.
The flow also removes the usual gas juggling. Normally, a cross-chain move forces a user to hold native gas on every network. Here, solvers handle the routing, so the sender just funds one address.
NEAR Intents laid out the steps in its own post. Pick a source chain and asset, pick a receiving token, get a permanent address, then send. The asset lands as a Solana token in Solflare.
Solflare summed up the pitch plainly. “Save it once. Use it forever,” the team wrote in its launch thread.
Solflare Bridge went live across Web, the browser extension, and mobile at the same time. So all three platforms support the feature from day one.
At launch, supported deposit chains include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Tron, NEAR, and Base, according to secondary reporting from CCN. On the receiving end, users can pick SOL, USDC, and more.
NEAR Protocol confirmed the integration a few hours after the reveal. In its post, the team said the flow supports EVM chains, Bitcoin, Tron, and more.
Solflare is also running a launch promo. For the first 30 days, Bridge fees sit at 0%. The waiver covers up to $125,000 in fees for the community.
After the promo, standard pricing applies. Stablecoin-to-stablecoin transfers cost 0.1%, while other assets carry a 1% fee. So the free window is a limited offer, not the permanent rate.
Traditional bridges lock assets on one chain and mint wrapped versions on another. Users then juggle wallet connections, approvals, and gas across multiple networks. That extra surface has fueled some of crypto’s largest hacks.
Intents flip the model. Instead of managing each step, the user signs one declaration: send X on chain A, receive Y on Solana. Solvers post collateral and compete to execute the best route.
Because settlement is verified on NEAR and refunded if it fails, the trust window shrinks. Still, the outcome depends on solvers and smart contracts, so risk does not vanish.
The settlement layer under Solflare Bridge already carries real volume. According to DefiLlama, NEAR Intents has processed roughly $24 billion in cumulative volume across more than 30 chains.
Recent activity stays strong, too. A Dune dashboard tracked about $2.1 billion in 30-day volume and more than $400 million over seven days. Aurora Intents, for its part, reports over $18 billion in volume.
Solflare brings a large audience to that pipe. The wallet is cited at roughly 4 million active users, so the integration could push meaningful deposit flow toward Solana.
The launch drew mostly positive reactions on X. Many users praised the permanent address and the simple flow, and some compared it favorably to multi-step bridges.
Community accounts amplified the “save once, reuse forever” message throughout the day. Ambassadors also flagged the seven day-one chains and the fee waiver. So far, no security FUD has gained traction in the early threads.
However, a few open questions remain. Solflare has not published a full list of every supported token or the exact minimums. The security model specific to this integration also lacks public audit detail so far.
Intent systems carry their own risks as well. Solver honesty, contract correctness, and liquidity depth all matter. So users should still treat large transfers with care. None of this is financial advice.
The rollout follows a clear trend. NEAR Intents grew fast, Aurora Intents productized it, and wallets such as Brave integrated it earlier in 2026.
Solflare Bridge now pushes that model to a mainstream Solana audience. Next, watch for more source chains, more receiving tokens, and the first on-chain deposit data once real usage builds. For now, the free-fee window gives users a reason to try it early.
