November 19, 2025- Scroll Launches USX as its first ZK-powered neodollar, offering gasless transfers, private transactions, and high-yield staking. This launch aims to make crypto feel like real, spendable money across DeFi and everyday payments.
Scroll has officially rolled out USX a fully collateralized neodollar built for private, gasless transactions on its ZK-rollup. Designed by USX Capital and powered by Scroll’s zero-knowledge infrastructure, USX merges TradFi-grade collateral strategies with DeFi accessibility.
This launch is positioned as a major leap toward a stablecoin that behaves like frictionless digital cash while retaining institutional trust and transparency.
Users can now mint and transact USX on the official website, with gasless transfers and full privacy preserved through Scroll’s ZK proofs. Staking is enabled through sUSX, offering estimated returns between 10–15%, subject to a 15-day unstaking cooldown.
LayerZero integration allows USX to move across multiple networks, although core privacy features remain exclusive to Scroll. Gradual rollouts from Q4 2025 into early 2026 will expand integrations across the DeFi ecosystem.
With ether.fi Cash integration arriving in Q1 2026, USX aims to expand beyond DeFi into everyday financial use cases. The project enters the market at a time when privacy-preserving technology and Layer 2 adoption are surging.
