RNP-017 and RNP-018 Proposals Introduced to Strengthen Render Network’s Ecosystem

RNP-018 focuses on emissions allocations for the second year of the Burn-Mint Equilibrium (BME), an economic mechanism introduced in RNP-001. The proposal builds on the success of Year 1 to further the growth and sustainability of the Render Network.

Achievements from Year 1

• 93 artist grants funded.
• 1.14 million RENDER rewards distributed.
• 355 million tokens upgraded to Solana.
• Triple the on-chain network usage.

Year 2 Emissions Budget

The total emissions for Year 2 are proposed at 5.9 million RENDER, allocated as follows:

• 25% (1.5M RENDER): Node rewards to support network growth and product releases.
• 25% (1.5M RENDER): Artist and AI client rewards, an increase from 0.54 million in 2024.
• 50% (2.9M RENDER): Community initiatives, research and development, operations, and overall growth.

• Node Operators: Ensure stable rewards and network availability.
• Artists and AI Clients: Boost creative opportunities with increased incentives.
• Community Members: Funding to support future growth initiatives and innovations.

Implementation and Monitoring

Once approved, Year 2 emissions will begin immediately. Allocations will be reviewed quarterly to ensure alignment with community needs, and adjustments will be made as necessary to address new challenges or opportunities.
