Mint Blockchain, a Layer 2 network on Ethereum, is set to launch its $MINT token airdrop and Token Generation Event (TGE) in Q1 2025. Recent community discussions suggest March 7, 2025, as a likely target.
The $MINT airdrop will distribute 12% of the total supply to eligible participants. The TGE will unlock 16.8% of the token supply, with the remainder released gradually over 36 months. A listing on major exchanges is expected to follow shortly after the event.
To participate in the $MINT airdrop, users must engage with Mint Blockchain through one of the following methods:
Users can check eligibility and claim rewards by connecting their wallets on the official airdrop page.
The $MINT TGE will introduce the token to the market with an initial 16.8% unlock. The remaining supply will follow a three-year vesting schedule, designed to maintain long-term stability.
Community speculation points to March 7, 2025, as the likely TGE date. This is based on posts from X (formerly Twitter) and discussions in crypto forums. However, no official confirmation has been issued.
Following the TGE, major exchange listings are expected, though exact platforms and timelines remain undisclosed.
Mint Blockchain is part of the Superchain ecosystem, benefiting from Optimism interoperability. The project raised $5 million in seed funding and received a $2 million strategic investment from the Optimism Foundation in late 2024.
The network has over 400,000 active addresses and has partnered with more than 100 ecosystem projects. Developers can earn $MINT rewards for building on the platform, aligning with its vision of expanding NFT and Web3 infrastructure.
If you are part of the Mint Blockchain community, this is a crucial time to finalize your airdrop eligibility by staking MintID, holding GreenID NFTs, or completing Mint Expedition quests. A successful TGE could drive ecosystem growth and increase token utility.
If you are not yet involved, the TGE and exchange listings may offer an opportunity to evaluate $MINT’s role in the broader crypto market and decide if Mint Blockchain aligns with your investment or development interests.
The $MINT community received the news majorly positively but some users had some points of concerns over the nature and time period of the airdrop. It remains to be seen how the community will react after they receive their airdropped tokens.
