Steady attention without excessive speculation.
This is the first fully public phase for Manic. It follows an Alpha in December 2025 and a Closed Beta. Now anyone can open a Real Account, deposit USDC, and trade without a waitlist.
Manic is an on-chain momentum trading platform for human traders and AI agents. The core idea is simple. Users predict whether an asset moves “Higher” or “Lower” over the next one to five minutes.
“Manic is an on-chain momentum trading platform built for human traders and AI agents,” the team wrote in the launch thread. The post also promised fast settlement on Solana across crypto, gold, and stocks.
At launch, traders can pick BTC, ETH, or SOL. Gold and stocks are coming soon, according to the project. Each trade then settles fully on Solana.
Trade sizes run from 1 to 100 USDC. Traders also choose a dynamic payout multiplier, which reaches up to 3x during the beta. So a correct call pays the stake times the multiplier, while a wrong call forfeits the stake.
Manic uses fixed-time binary direction trading. So this is not margin trading, and it is not perpetual futures. It is also not an event-based prediction market like Polymarket.
Instead, the platform reads short bursts of price momentum. A trader selects an asset, a duration, and a stake. Then the app shows a live payout multiplier based on volatility, time left, and move distance.
There are no margin calls and no liquidations. As a result, risk stays capped at the trade amount. The most a trader can lose is the USDC they commit.
Head of Product Lucas framed the pitch at the Alpha launch. “Manic lets you trade it,” he said of momentum. “One tap. Instant settlement. You’re ready for the next wave.”
Manic vs. comparable short-duration / on-chain trading platforms
Every position opens, closes, and pays out through Anchor programs on Solana. So there is no off-chain matching engine. Each trade clears transparently on mainnet, according to the project documentation.
Manic prices trades using the Pyth Network oracle. Pyth aggregates feeds from exchanges such as OKX and Binance. The oracle price at entry and at expiry then decides the win or loss.
Solana’s roughly 400 millisecond blocks and sub-cent fees suit these short rounds. For now, deposits and withdrawals run in USDC on Solana mainnet only. Traders can also verify individual trades on Solscan or Solana Explorer.
Manic also leans on outside infrastructure. Mayan handles cross-chain deposits, while Turnkey powers embedded wallets. SonicSVM then supports the AI agent layer. Together, these pieces aim for low-latency, mobile-first execution.
The Manic Open Beta also adds an incentive layer. An Incentive Task System hands out Bonus Credits, which convert to USDC through trading volume. Daily streaks and referrals add more rewards.
A first deposit of 100 USDC or more unlocks a zero-fee trading promo and demo bonuses. For now, trading fees stay at zero for qualifying users during the beta. Still, the promo is temporary.
Manic is live on the Solana Mobile dApp Store, too. The platform also exposes its markets to AI agents. So bots can enter the same one to five minute rounds as humans. Full details sit in the user guide.
Short-duration direction products draw real criticism. Critics often compare them to binary options or gambling. Several jurisdictions also restrict such products over addictiveness and retail protection concerns.
Some observers may label Manic “another Solana casino.” The project counters that momentum reading is a skill, and that on-chain settlement adds transparency. Both framings deserve weight here.
Other questions stay open. Manic has not publicly disclosed the specific Solana program address. The team says Beosin completed a security audit, yet it has not published the full report. No native token exists, and the team has announced no tokenomics.
The platform also says little about KYC or AML checks for Real Accounts. So the custody model for future gold and stock products stays unclear too. These gaps matter for traders weighing regulatory risk.
The team has flagged a Polymarket integration as upcoming. That move could let agents arbitrage Manic rounds against Polymarket’s short markets. For now, it stays planned rather than live.
Closed Beta numbers set the early benchmark. Manic reported more than 5,000 active users, over $100,000 in volume, and 12,000-plus predictions. Independent dashboards have not confirmed those figures yet, so treat them with care. Still, those metrics validated the core trading loop before this public phase.
Traders can try the Open Beta now through the Manic app. Short-term trading carries real risk, so treat this as information, not financial advice. Always size positions you can afford to lose.
