CBOE announced that five spot Ethereum ETFs, including funds from Fidelity and VanEck, will be listed on the exchange on July 23. This follows CBOE posting new issue notifications as part of the ETF launch procedure.
- Spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds from Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, Invesco Galaxy, VanEck, and 21Shares will begin trading on July 23.
- The exchange confirmed these ETFs’ trading start in a new issue notification, which is procedural before product launches.
Firms aiming to launch their spot Ethereum ETFs received SEC approval of 19b-4 forms in May. However, they need their registration statements to be effective before launching. Bloomberg’s Eric Balchunas mentioned that firms would “request effectiveness” on Monday. Fee amounts were disclosed in amended registration statements, with Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, VanEck, and 21Shares all waiving their fees for varying periods after the fund’s listing.
