The CAKE.PAD launch on PancakeSwap replaces IFOs with a simpler, CAKE-powered model for early token access and increased token burns.

October 6, 2025 — PancakeSwap has announced the CAKE.PAD launch, introducing a redesigned early token access platform that replaces the previous Initial Farm Offering (IFO) model. Built around accessibility and CAKE utility, CAKE.PAD allows anyone holding CAKE in a non-custodial wallet to join early token access events without staking or lock-ups, marking a new phase in the exchange’s Tokenomics 3.0 roadmap.
The CAKE.PAD launch simplifies early token participation by removing the staking and tiered formats of previous IFOs. Users can now commit CAKE directly during an active event and claim new tokens after it concludes.
This design increases participation and connects CAKE usage directly to PancakeSwap’s growth. The platform’s fair tiered subscription tax ensures balanced participation even when events are oversubscribed.
A major highlight of the CAKE.PAD model is its direct contribution to CAKE’s deflationary mechanics. Every CAKE used in participation fees is permanently burned, decreasing circulating supply and supporting long-term token value.
PancakeSwap developers emphasized that these structural changes strengthen CAKE’s role as a true utility token while encouraging user engagement through accessible launches.
The CAKE.PAD launch is central to PancakeSwap’s long-term expansion. It creates more avenues for CAKE use and gives emerging projects a fair, community-driven launch environment.
By connecting users, projects, and CAKE token mechanics, PancakeSwap aims to deepen its footprint across BNB Chain and attract more developers to its ecosystem.
PancakeSwap’s team plans to host the first CAKE.PAD events in the coming weeks, offering users early access to new tokens and reinforcing CAKE’s ecosystem role. The CAKE.PAD launch reflects the platform’s broader mission under Tokenomics 3.0: to make token access simple, fair, and deeply integrated with CAKE’s value dynamics.
