2nd July 2026 – BNB Chain launched BNB Agent Studio on BNB Smart Chain mainnet. The tool turns a single prompt into a live AI agent in under 15 minutes.
High Signal Summary For A Quick Glance
The platform lets builders describe an agent in plain language. They can do this inside tools like Cursor or Claude Code. From there, it scaffolds the code, provisions cloud infrastructure, and deploys a running agent. So a process that once took days now aims to finish fast.
The pitch is simple. You write one prompt, and BNB Agent Studio handles the rest of the stack.
First, it generates and scaffolds the agent code. Then it provisions secure cloud infrastructure through an infrastructure-as-code generator. After that, it deploys the agent to a managed runtime. Finally, it registers an onchain identity.
It also binds a wallet and sets up task interfaces. On top of that, it switches on self-funding payments. According to BNB Chain’s launch blog, the full flow completes in under 15 minutes. That same claim also appears in a dedicated AWS case study.
The one-prompt workflow matters for a reason. Most developers already live in Cursor or Claude Code. So the studio meets them where they work, instead of forcing a new dashboard. In turn, that lowers the barrier for smaller teams and solo builders.
The runtime sits on AWS Bedrock AgentCore. AWS made that platform generally available on October 13, 2025. BNB Chain then co-engineered the integration with the AWS Generative AI Innovation Center. Notably, AgentCore stays framework- and model-agnostic, so builders are not locked into one stack.
Each agent runs inside an isolated microVM with least-privilege access. CloudWatch handles monitoring, so builders get logs and metrics from the start. As a result, agents launch as production services rather than fragile local scripts.
That distinction matters because local prototypes often break. They stall when credits run out. They also die when a laptop closes. By contrast, agents on this runtime keep working around the clock.
Every agent gets an onchain identity through the ERC-8004 standard. That identity lives on BNB Smart Chain. Because it is persistent and transferable, an agent can be paused, resumed, or handed to a new owner.
The mainnet ERC-8004 Identity Registry sits at 0x8004A169FB4a3325136EB29fA0ceB6D2e539a432. Registrations are searchable on BscScan. Agents also use the ERC-8183 standard for their task and commerce interfaces. Together, these standards let an agent prove who it is and take on paid work.
Payments run on the x402 protocol. When an agent’s model credits run low, it tops them up automatically. The funds come from a developer-funded wallet. Those payments then settle onchain in the $U stablecoin on BSC. So the agent can pay its own bills without a human in the loop. In effect, that self-funding loop is what keeps an agent alive after the developer walks away.
BNB Chain frames these agents as persistent and ownable. In practice, they run 24/7 in the cloud. They also hold their own state, memory, and wallet.
Because the identity lives onchain, ownership is a verifiable record rather than a login. An owner can therefore transfer, pause, or migrate an agent. It works much like moving any other onchain asset.
Nina Rong, Executive Director of Growth at BNB Chain, tied the design to the AWS runtime. She said Amazon Bedrock AgentCore gave the team enterprise-grade infrastructure to make onchain agents production-ready. In her words, they are “secure, scalable, and reliable from day one.”
The launch has drawn measured praise, but also fair scrutiny. For one, “ship an agent in 15 minutes” describes deployment speed. It does not describe the trust and accountability layers that autonomous agents still need.
There is also a centralization tension. Critics note that a decentralized identity leans on a centralized AWS runtime. So the “onchain agent” still depends on one cloud provider. Meanwhile, several details remain open. These include full pricing beyond the free tier and long-term security audits for agent wallets.
Adoption numbers need context too. BNB Chain points to more than 120,000 agents reportedly created across its broader ecosystem. However, that figure covers earlier tools and the BNBAgent SDK, not Agent Studio alone. None of this is financial advice, and self-funding wallets carry real risk.
For now, BNB Agent Studio is live on BNB Smart Chain mainnet. A limited-time AWS Free Tier also lets developers trial it on testnet. The roadmap even hints at wider cloud support, with Azure named as a future option.
The real test starts now, as builders push these agents into live tasks and payments. If the 15-minute claim holds outside the demo, agent deployment shifts from a multi-day project to a routine step. Developers can check the product page and the open SDK to try it themselves.

@BNBCHAIN @awscloud feels like we’re finally leaving the days of slow manual setups behind, huh? building in 15 minutes with security and onchain identity? that’s wild progress for real. wonder how long until everyone’s running their own AI agents like it’s second nature https://t.co/MOvWiDrVZn
