21 April, 2026: Dune Analytics has launched a new open dashboard that publicly analyzes Decentralized Verifier Network (DVN) security configurations for every active Omnichain Application (OApp) on LayerZero. The dashboard tracks approximately 2,665 unique OApp contracts and shows exactly how each project configures its cross-chain security, including the number of DVNs required per message. This release brings full transparency to LayerZero’s security standards, especially in the wake of recent exploits that took advantage of weak DVN configurations.

@Dune This is simply unbelievable: "Of ~2,665 unique OApp contracts: 47% run a 1-of-1 DVN security floor" Whoever runs these contracts should be stopped right away. Can you contact all these guys and ask them to implement stronger security measures immediately?
Following the KelpDAO hack, we built an open analysis of DVN security configurations across every active OApp on LayerZero over the last 90 days. Of ~2,665 unique OApp contracts: 47% run a 1-of-1 DVN security floor, 45% run 2-of-2, and ~5% run 3-of-3 or higher. As we know,

@Dune Atm we have 1/1 on testnet, will improve to 3/3. There's never enough security.

Dune Analytics has launched a new open, transparent dashboard that publicly analyzes Decentralized Verifier Network (DVN) security configurations for every active Omnichain Application (OApp) built on LayerZero. The dashboard examines ~2,665 unique OApp contracts over the past 90 days and reveals exactly how each project configures its cross-chain security settings, including the number of DVNs required per message.
Security distribution of OApps based on DVN configuration and validation thresholds
Dune’s new dashboard was built using a combination of on-chain event indexing and custom SQL queries that continuously scan every LayerZero OApp contract. It automatically flags high-risk configurations in real time and provides shareable links for any specific OApp, allowing developers, auditors, and users to verify security settings instantly.
LayerZero has not yet issued an official comment on the dashboard, but several major OApps have already begun updating their DVN settings publicly since the data went live. This level of transparency is unprecedented for a cross-chain messaging protocol and is expected to become a standard reference point for security due diligence across the entire omnichain ecosystem.
