All the latest news and key insights you need from Lorenzo Protocol
Lorenzo Protocol is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform designed to unlock institutional-grade yield opportunities for Bitcoin holders. It achieves this by tokenizing diversified yield strategies into single-token products, enabling accessible on-chain asset management through its Financial Abstraction Layer (FAL). The protocol facilitates the creation of On-Chain Traded Funds (OTFs) that aggregate returns from real-world assets, quantitative trading, and DeFi strategies, providing stable and scalable returns.
Traditional DeFi platforms often lack the infrastructure to support Bitcoin's unique properties, such as its security and scarcity. Lorenzo Protocol was created to bridge this gap by providing a platform where Bitcoin holders can stake their assets and access financial products tied to staking rewards. This approach aims to meet the growing demand for Bitcoin liquidity across Layer 2 solutions, DeFi platforms, and staking ecosystems, allowing Bitcoin to participate in the broader DeFi landscape.
$BANK is the native utility token of the Lorenzo Protocol. It serves multiple purposes within the ecosystem:
Lorenzo Protocol held its Token Generation Event on Binance Wallet, distributing BANK tokens.
Public token sale concluded the same day, setting BANK’s initial launch price at $0.0048.
BANK token was listed on BTSE under the BANK/USDT pair.
Lorenzo Protocol prepared for its mainnet activation alongside the USD1+ OTF financial product.
