Zero1Labs Unveils Utility Agent Framework

Zero1Labs has announced the launch of a no-code platform designed to create utility agents for the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ecosystem. Dubbed the “Swiss army knife” for data aggregation, the framework enables developers and non-technical users to build agents that perform tasks such as data aggregation, automation, and portfolio management.

The platform, inspired by tools like Zapier, emphasizes simplicity while delivering robust functionality tailored to the crypto landscape. Zero1Labs will roll out the framework over the next three weeks, with a full release scheduled by mid-to-late January 2025.

Core Features and Functionality

At the heart of the utility agent framework is a custom-built Python scraping UI, powered by prompt-based instructions. This feature allows creators to aggregate data from third-party sources and automate actionable insights.

Some example use cases include:

1. Trading Insights: Agents can gather and analyze data from TradingView or leading traders on social platforms to identify potential setups.
2. On-Chain Trends: Agents can monitor mentions of new projects by top accounts and create automated summaries.
3. Portfolio Management: Agents can buy trending tokens, rebalance portfolios, and execute trades based on evolving market data.
4. Community Management: Automated agents can handle community queries, onboard members, and collect feedback efficiently.

Data Aggregation and Economic Model

The framework integrates semantic search and prompt-based scraping solutions to source high-fidelity data. Users can connect to APIs from platforms like Twitter, Defillama, and Dune Analytics to create on-chain insights. The framework’s “full working memory” feature allows agents to simulate and reference past data for improved accuracy.

Zero1Labs has also introduced a native economic model powered by the $DEAI token. Key components include:
