September 30, 2025 — Yellow Network unveiled its Yellow Cabs campaign during TOKEN2049 Singapore, turning city streets into a gamified experience. The branded taxis, available free to ticket holders until October 3, integrate blockchain-based quests where riders scan QR codes to unlock tasks and rewards. Participants can win up to $5,000 in crypto prizes while collecting digital collectibles along the journey.
Founded in 2021, Yellow Network first focused on liquidity solutions and cross-chain swaps before launching its $YELLOW token. By 2023, the platform processed billions in trading volume. Its pivot toward DePIN projects accelerated in 2024, including mobility partnerships and transport data tokenization.
The campaign builds on these efforts, following earlier AR quest activations in Dubai. Singapore’s crypto-friendly regulatory framework provides an ideal testing ground for DePIN-powered mobility. The project also echoes broader industry experiments, where blockchain utility extends into tangible services such as ride-hailing and payments.
This activation could boost $YELLOW demand as riders engage in quests and circulate rewards. Analysts expect trading volume to rise during TOKEN2049, where tokens often rally 10–20% from event-driven excitement. Broader DePIN tokens like $MVL and $TON may also benefit from the sector spotlight.
For Singapore’s ride-hailing market, worth nearly $2 billion annually, the initiative introduces crypto-enabled transportation that may capture event-related fares. Despite scalability hurdles such as reliable data oracles, the fleet positions Yellow Network as a frontrunner in decentralized mobility, supporting long-term growth in Asia’s smart city ecosystems.
TOKEN2049 Singapore, held October 1-2, 2025, at Marina Bay Sands, draws 25,000+ attendees for keynotes, panels, and networking amid 500+ exhibitors. The event’s Week (September 29-October 5) amplifies activations like Yellow Cabs, fostering DePIN innovation in a crypto-friendly hub. This backdrop elevates Yellow Network’s campaign, blending real-world utility with blockchain excitement to drive sector momentum.
