The Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance, formed by SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, and Ocean Protocol, has announced the proposed integration of cloud compute infrastructure provider CUDOS. If approved by community vote, CUDOS will become the newest member of the ASI Alliance, bringing its powerful decentralized AI computing network into the fold. The vote is set to take place from September 19 to 24, 2024.
This integration would merge CUDOS tokens (CUDOS) into the ASI Alliance token (FET), streamlining operations under a unified ecosystem. By incorporating CUDOS’ global distributed computing resources, including thousands of state-of-the-art AI GPUs like Nvidia Blackwell GB200s, the Alliance significantly enhances its computing capacity, crucial for advancing large-scale AI and machine learning applications. The partnership promises to decentralize and improve scalability, security, and efficiency across the Alliance.
CUDOS’ model is seen as a cost-efficient alternative to centralized providers like Amazon AWS, offering premium AI infrastructure at around 50% of the cost. This integration aligns with the Alliance’s broader goal of developing decentralized Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and Artificial Superintelligence (ASI).
Pending community approval, the token merge will follow specific conversion ratios, with vesting periods for token holders and a 5% fee allocated to the Alliance’s ongoing development, marketing, and legal costs.
