Quantum Fusion litepaper

Quantum Fusion foundation team release their QFN Litepaper

The Quantum Fusion team released their Litepaper on 23rd Sept. 2024 on X articles with the title “Unveiling QuantumFusion Network: Redefining the Blockchain Landscape”.

The full length litepaper has also been linked to in the X article at the bottom which is a 22 page pdf on the overview of QFN as a project.

Some highlights of the litepaper include:

– SPIN Consensus Protocol: This novel consensus mechanism offers rapid finality with 0.1-second block times and strong security by separating short-term and long-term consensus processes.
– Parallelized Execution: QFN enables the decoupling of transaction ordering and execution, allowing true parallelism and processing over 10,000 transactions per second.

PolkaVM: A high-performance virtual machine designed for flexibility and compatibility, leveraging the RISC-V instruction set to support various programming languages while achieving near-native execution speeds.
Verifiable Off-Chain Workers: These allow complex, compute-intensive tasks to be executed off-chain, but maintain on-chain verifiability using zero-knowledge proofs. This feature unlocks a wide range of new dApp possibilities.
zkTLS for Web2 Data Integration: This protocol enables the migration of valuable data (like reputation systems) from Web2 to blockchain securely, ensuring integration with Web3 without sacrificing data integrity.
nQUIC and WebRTC Networking: By leveraging cutting-edge networking protocols, QFN ensures secure, efficient communication between nodes, improving network performance and supporting in-browser light clients.
Light-Client First Architecture: QFN’s infrastructure supports millions of users running their own light nodes, reducing dependency on centralized RPC providers, thus promoting decentralization.
