NetMind, a decentralized computing platform, has announced a new partnership with Eternal AI to enhance the deployment and scalability of large artificial intelligence (AI) models. The collaboration allows Eternal AI to leverage NetMind’s decentralized GPU resources for on-chain AI models like Llama 3.1 405B and Stable Diffusion.
NetMind’s platform enables developers to rent GPU resources from a global pool, offering an alternative to centralized cloud providers. Through this network, AI developers can distribute training and inference tasks across multiple nodes, improving performance and reducing bottlenecks. Eternal AI will utilize these decentralized GPU nodes for large-scale inference, benefiting from faster and more cost-effective execution.
Eternal AI gains additional control by accessing NetMind’s GPU resources via SSH, allowing for more direct oversight of its models and data during the deployment and training process. NetMind’s multi-utility token (NMT) supports the transactions within this decentralized framework.
This partnership highlights a growing trend towards decentralized infrastructure in AI development, aiming to create more scalable and efficient solutions for training and deploying complex AI models.
