December 23, 2025. The MiMo V2 Flash Deployment marks the launch of Xiaomi’s latest open source reasoning model on Chutes.ai, a decentralized serverless AI compute platform. The model uses a Mixture of Experts design with 309 billion total parameters and only 15 billion active parameters per inference.
Xiaomi entered large scale AI research in 2023 and accelerated development through open weight releases focused on efficiency and reasoning. MiMo V2 Flash was released under an MIT license and post trained using agent focused reinforcement learning to optimize complex task execution.
Chutes.ai provides decentralized access to GPU resources using a serverless architecture built on Bittensor. The platform has hosted multiple high performance open models, making it a natural distribution layer for MiMo V2 Flash and similar efficient architectures.
The deployment of Xiaomi’s MiMo V2 Flash model on Chutes.ai (Bittensor Subnet 64) has generated significant community interest but resulted in only modest short term price movement for $SN64. Current pricing data shows $SN64 trading in the $18.50–$23.50 range across sources, with recent 24 hour changes ranging from -0.05% to +2.04%. No dramatic spike directly attributable to the launch is evident, though subtle upward pressure aligns with increased platform hype and inference demand.

The MiMo V2 Flash deployment on Chutes.ai, December 23, 2025, showcases Xiaomi’s 309B parameter Mixture of Experts model with only 15B active per inference delivering frontier level reasoning at dramatically lower cost. Released under MIT license and optimized for long context agent workloads, it marks Xiaomi’s aggressive open source push against proprietary giants in the race for efficient, scalable AI.
In 2025, Chutes.ai expanded into a core decentralized AI infrastructure layer, highlighted by the deployment of Xiaomi’s MiMo V2 Flash reasoning model. The platform saw strong growth in agent focused workloads, offering fast, low cost inference for coding and long context tasks.
Chutes also strengthened its serverless GPU network through deeper Bittensor integration, improving reliability and scaling. This positioned the platform as a neutral execution layer for open source AI models rather than a proprietary model provider.
