Mantle Network, a high-performance Ethereum L2 for institutional liquidity and real-world assets, has more than doubled its DeFi TVL to ~$543M in 12 days since Aave V3 launched on February 11, 2026. The integration with Bybit brought Aave’s full lending suite live with a six-month incentive program, attracting hundreds of millions in deposits and pushing Aave TVL on Mantle to over $290M.
This continues Mantle’s pivot into a major DeFi hub. At the end of 2025, TVL was ~$330M. Protocol launches like this often deliver 50–100%+ TVL gains in early weeks, and the market has responded bullishly, confirming that established lending infrastructure drives chain adoption and sticky liquidity.
Mantle is the first Ethereum L2 built for institutions and real-world assets, offering fast finality, very low gas fees, and native BTC/ETH liquidity. Aave V3 tapped this infrastructure, bringing $290M in TVL in under two weeks.
The Bybit partnership created a seamless on-ramp, letting millions of users deposit and earn boosted yields instantly. Combined with Mantle’s incentives, this drove the fastest DeFi TVL growth of any major L2 in 2026, showing that institutional design plus exchange integration drives Layer-2 adoption.
