Arkham posted the update on 23 October 2026. The firm tracks over 1,000 addresses linked to Davis and his firm, Kelsier Ventures. Most of that lost value was LIBRA, the Solana token that collapsed days after its February 2025 launch.
Arkham splits the cluster into two labeled groups. One is the Libra entity, which holds LIBRA-associated funds. The other carries the Kelsier Ventures label, under Hayden Davis.
Arkham notes that Kelsier Ventures controls the Libra team wallets. So the two labels describe one operation. The firm also says it was first to map the full set, now referenced as roughly 1,200 addresses.
The February 2025 total came close to $300 million. Most of it sat in LIBRA coin. It also included roughly $100 million of USDC and SOL pulled from liquidity pools.
By October 2026, the picture had flipped. One contemporaneous check cited about $1.88 million in Kelsier wallets. Another $1.78 million sat in leftover Libra-team LIBRA, according to Arkham’s own post.
The extraction method looked simple on paper. Insiders added one-sided LIBRA liquidity to pools, mostly on Meteora. At the same time, they pulled the USDC and SOL that backed those pools.
In effect, the team swapped a large LIBRA inventory for stable assets and SOL. Because the add was one-sided, the move caused little public price impact. Analysts call this the classic rugpull drain of backing assets.
The team also claimed liquidity-provider fees and profited from early sniping. Meteora, the main venue, later cut ties with the people involved. Its former co-founder Benjamin Chow stepped back as the fallout spread.
Bubblemaps documented the flow in detail. Its write-up traces how one cluster drained about $87 million in a single hour. Lookonchain separately reported roughly $107 million cashed out by eight linked wallets.
The LIBRA saga runs from its February 2025 launch and promotion by Argentine President Javier Milei to reported liquidity extraction, a sharp price collapse, legal fallout and Arkham’s October 2026 report of less than $2 million in tracked residual holdings. The precise destination of the extracted funds remains unresolved.
LIBRA is minted on Solana and a liquidity pool is created on Meteora. Argentine President Javier Milei publishes the token’s contract address, describing it as a private initiative intended to fund Argentine small businesses and ventures. The market capitalization briefly exceeds approximately $4.5 billion before the price reverses.
On-chain analysts report that insiders extracted approximately $87 million–$107 million in USDC and SOL from liquidity pools by adding one-sided LIBRA liquidity and removing the stablecoin or SOL side. LIBRA falls roughly 90%–95%. Milei deletes his promotional post and says he was unaware of the details. Nansen later estimates approximately $251 million in realized losses among 86% of traders.
Arkham publicly identifies more than 1,000 addresses associated with Kelsier Ventures and Hayden Davis, separating wallets into the LIBRA and Kelsier Ventures entities. Combined tracked holdings are reported at nearly $300 million, mostly LIBRA, alongside approximately $100 million in USDC and SOL attributed to the earlier pool extraction.
Hayden Davis discusses the launch and his team’s involvement in interviews, including an admission of sniping at launch and custodianship of roughly $100 million. An Argentine criminal investigation proceeds, while U.S. investors file the class action Hurlock v. Kelsier Ventures et al. Davis characterizes the outcome as a plan that went badly wrong rather than a straightforward rug pull.
U.S. District Judge Jennifer L. Rochon dismisses the amended complaint with prejudice, denies further amendment and closes the case. The decision concerns pleading defects, including RICO continuity, personal jurisdiction and fraud intent; it is not a factual finding that resolves whether the alleged extraction occurred. The Argentine criminal investigation remains separate.
Arkham reiterates its tracking of the LIBRA and Kelsier-linked wallet cluster. The investigation shifts from the original portfolio valuation toward the remaining marked-to-market assets and the movement of funds after the February 2025 extraction.
Arkham’s updated reporting describes a cluster of roughly 1,000 or more addresses, later estimated at around 1,200. One cited breakdown lists approximately $1.88 million in Kelsier holdings and $1.78 million in residual LIBRA-team holdings. These figures are separate components, totaling approximately $3.66 million, so they do not support a combined value below $2 million without a different snapshot or scope. The gap from the February 2025 valuation remains unresolved.
The principal unresolved issue is the subsequent path of the approximately $100 million in extracted USDC and SOL. Tracked portfolio values are snapshots, not a complete accounting of realized proceeds, transfers, spending, or assets held outside the identified cluster.
This is where the trail gets murky. Arkham’s under-$2 million figure is a point-in-time, mark-to-market value. It does not prove where the extracted funds finally landed.
The current total mostly reflects illiquid, depreciated LIBRA. The roughly $100 million in USDC and SOL appears to have moved out of the labeled addresses. For now, its exact location stays unknown.
Analysts suggest the funds could have been sold on exchanges, bridged, or held off-label. No one has confirmed any of these paths. On X, one on-chain tracker noted the remaining value is mostly residual LIBRA plus some staked SOL. The tracker then asked where the $100 million actually went.
LIBRA minted on Solana on 14 February 2025. Within about an hour, Argentine President Javier Milei promoted it as a way to fund local businesses. He later deleted the post.
The price spiked near $4.55 and the market cap topped $4.5 billion. Then it collapsed as much as 95% within hours. Price pages later marked an all-time high around $0.75 on 17 February 2025.
Today LIBRA trades in fractions of a cent, roughly $0.002 to $0.006 depending on the pair. Liquidity stays thin, and the market cap now sits in the low millions. The damage to traders, though, came fast and hard.
Nansen found that 86% of traders lost a combined $251 million. Winners, by contrast, walked away with about $180 million. Few memecoin collapses have produced losses on that scale so quickly.
Davis has denied running a straightforward rug pull, describing the venture in a Coffeezilla interview as a plan that went miserably wrong. He also claimed to have acted as custodian of approximately $100 million.
Regarding the launch, he admitted that his team sniped tokens, which he justified as a defense against other snipers. Davis also acknowledged his involvement in the MELANIA token launch. Separately, reports say he refunded $5 million to Dave Portnoy.
The courts have moved in different directions. A U.S. class action, Hurlock v. Kelsier Ventures, was dismissed with prejudice on 29 September 2026. Still, that ruling is not a finding that no wrongdoing occurred.
In Argentina, prosecutor Eduardo Taiano continues a criminal probe as of October 2026. The U.S. Justice Department reportedly declined an assistance request, citing thin evidence of a crime.
For now, the Kelsier Ventures wallets tell a clear story of value destroyed and value moved. The open question is whether investigators can trace the extracted $100 million to a final home.
Arkham’s dashboards stay public, so anyone can still watch the cluster in real time. Any large movement from the labeled addresses would likely draw quick attention. Readers can follow the Kelsier Ventures and Libra entity pages directly.
