Frictionless Network Strengthens wETH Integration, Announces Private OTC Trading

Frictionless Network, a rising decentralized OTC trading platform, has unveiled a series of updates aimed at streamlining token swaps, improving liquidity, and enhancing user experience. The latest upgrades include a direct wETH integration, an upcoming Private OTC (P-OTC) feature for ETH pairs, and a strategic presence at Web3 Amsterdam 2025.

Key Improvements in FRIC–wETH Integration

• Direct wETH Pairing: FRIC is now natively paired with wETH, Ethereum’s wrapped Ether, allowing one-step swaps without bridging through other tokens. This simplifies transactions and improves efficiency.
• Elimination of Intermediate Hops: The update removes unnecessary routing steps. Previously, FRIC trades often required conversion through a middle token (e.g., FRIC -> USDC -> ETH). Now, FRIC can be swapped directly for wETH, reducing slippage and gas fees.
• Enhanced Liquidity Pools: Liquidity is now concentrated in the FRIC–wETH pool, leading to deeper market depth and more stable pricing.
• Better User Experience: Lower gas fees and reduced slippage ensure smoother transactions, benefiting both traders and liquidity providers.

By integrating FRIC with wETH, Frictionless Network strengthens its foothold in the Ethereum ecosystem, making it easier for users to swap, trade, and participate in DeFi applications without unnecessary complexity.

Launch of Private OTC (P-OTC) for ETH Pairs

One of the most anticipated features in Frictionless Network’s roadmap is the upcoming launch of Private OTC (P-OTC) trading for ETH pairs. This feature allows traders to conduct large private trades with whitelisted counterparties while remaining fully on-chain.

• Whitelisted Counterparties: Users can create exclusive trade offers that only designated wallet addresses can accept, ensuring confidentiality.
• Initial Scope: The first phase will support ETH pairs, including ETH <> (USDC, DAI, USDT) and ETH <> wBTC, among others.
