October 6, 2025 — In a breakthrough for blockchain-based finance, Chainlink has launched its new DataLink service on the Sei Network. The integration streams real-time market data from Deutsche Börse Group directly on-chain, linking global capital markets with decentralized applications. As a result, developers can now access verified feeds for equities, bonds, FX, and derivatives in sub-second speed.
Key Takeaways
Chainlink DataLink goes live on Sei, linking Deutsche Börse’s market data to on-chain applications.
Over 4 billion daily data points from Eurex, Xetra, 360T and Tradegate now stream on-chain.
Developers gain instant access to equities, FX, and derivatives pricing for tokenized-asset and DeFi use cases.
Sei’s sub-second finality enables real-time settlement using verified TradFi data.
A New Standard for Market Data
Announced by the Sei Foundation on X, the rollout extends DataLink across more than forty blockchains. The service acts as a plug-and-play framework, removing the need for custom oracle code. Consequently, over 2,400 protocols can now pull high-quality data instantly.
Deutsche Börse’s Market Data + Services division leads the partnership. For the first time, information from Eurex, Xetra, 360T, and Tradegate becomes publicly verifiable on-chain. Together, these venues handle €1.3 trillion in yearly trades and generate more than four billion data points daily.
“Publishing our trusted market data on-chain marks a milestone in connecting traditional and decentralized finance,” said Dr. Alireza Dorfard, Managing Director at Deutsche Börse Group.
Why Sei Matters
Sei’s Layer-1 architecture is built for speed and precision. It processes thousands of transactions per second with sub-second finality, making it ideal for low-latency financial feeds. Moreover, this partnership follows Data Streams’ successful debut on Sei in September. “Real-time data meets real-time settlement,” the network wrote. “Markets move faster on .”
The timing is crucial. Analysts expect the tokenized-asset market to exceed $30 trillion by 2030. With verified market data available on-chain, developers can launch products such as price-anchored perpetuals or tokenized bonds that adjust automatically to market events. This reduces oracle risk and attracts institutions seeking compliance-grade transparency.
Chainlink Datalink Outlook
Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov said the rollout “cements blockchain as the infrastructure for a unified global economy.” Early adopters include DeFi and RWA platforms expanding into Europe’s regulated markets.
Going forward, Sei aims to become a high-speed hub for tokenized finance, a place where Deutsche Börse’s accuracy meets blockchain’s efficiency. If successful, the collaboration could redefine how markets settle value in real time.
DataLink is Chainlink’s turnkey data-publishing service that delivers verified, institutional-grade market feeds directly on-chain for DeFi and tokenized-asset applications.
Why is the Deutsche Börse integration important?
It brings official exchange data from venues such as Eurex, Xetra, 360T, and Tradegate on-chain for the first time — more than four billion daily data points powering transparent pricing for global markets.
Why was Sei chosen for the rollout?
Sei offers sub-second finality and thousands of TPS, making it ideal for real-time settlement of data-driven DeFi and RWA products built with Chainlink DataLink feeds.
What use cases does this enable?
Developers can build tokenized bonds, on-chain derivatives, and AI-enhanced trading platforms that react instantly to verified market data — reducing oracle risk and boosting transparency.
What are the main risks or challenges?
Potential data-licensing limits, integration complexity for legacy institutions, and regulatory oversight on tokenized-asset trading could shape how quickly adoption scales.
