Aleph Zero has officially released its Shielding Demo on the EVM testnet, marking a major step forward for privacy in blockchain transactions. Powered by zkOS, a client-side zero-knowledge (ZK) privacy solution, this demo allows users to shield their tokens and perform private, on-chain transfers with subsecond speed.

Private Transfers: Users can now privately transfer assets to any Aleph Zero EVM address, ensuring that their transactions remain confidential.
Fast ZK Proofs: Zero-knowledge proofs are generated locally on user devices in just 0.5 to 3 seconds, maintaining transaction speed without compromising privacy.
Core Feature of Common App: This shielding technology will be a key feature in Aleph Zero’s upcoming Common app, enhancing privacy and security for decentralized finance (DeFi) users.

Aleph Zero’s Shielding Demo showcases how zkOS can protect users’ financial data, making it impossible for competitors to track transactions.
