Sidney-Zhang

Sidney Zhang is a co-founder and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Magic Eden, the leading NFT marketplace originally built on Solana. Together with his fellow founders, he helped launch the company in 2021 with the mission of creating a user-friendly platform for creating, discovering and trading NFTs.

Prior to co-founding Magic Eden, Zhang built his career in tech and crypto infrastructure—starting a bitcoin-developer API company in 2013, then working as an early engineer for major tech firms. At Magic Eden, he oversees the technological architecture and product development, driving the platform’s growth from a Solana-first marketplace to a multi-chain ecosystem.
