Siddhartha-Dutta

Siddhartha Dutta is the co-founder and CEO of Marlin Labs, the team behind the Marlin Protocol and its native token POND. A graduate of IIT Bombay in Computer Science, he previously worked as a researcher at Adobe and Inria, earning patents in online illustration and text enrichment, and later as a software engineer at Microsoft. He also contributed as a core developer at Zilliqa, a sharded blockchain platform.

In 2017–2018, Dutta co-founded Marlin with Prateesh Goyal and Roshan Raghupathy to build a high-performance, open-source networking protocol that enhances blockchain scalability and speed. Marlin leverages relay networks, trusted execution environments, and zero-knowledge proofs to improve decentralized communication. Its token, POND, powers staking, governance, and incentives, with mPOND introduced as a governance-specific token.
