Justin Snapp is the co-founder of Taraxa and an accomplished engineer with a strong academic background. He holds undergraduate, master’s, and doctorate degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. Before founding Taraxa, Justin worked as a senior engineer at Qualcomm and helped design the company’s first 802.11ax transceiver. His PhD research at Stanford focused on nano-fabricated terahertz vacuum electronics, under the guidance of professors Thomas Lee and Roger Howe.

As an undergraduate, Justin earned the prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. He plays a key role in shaping Taraxa’s infrastructure and performance. At Taraxa, he has built one of the fastest and most scalable Layer-1 blockchains in the industry.

Justin’s focus on deep tech and precision engineering drives Taraxa’s blockDAG innovation and real-time execution engine.
