Juan Benet

Juan Benet is a computer scientist and entrepreneur best known as the founder of Protocol Labs, the company behind IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) and Filecoin, two major projects in decentralized web and blockchain technology. A Stanford graduate, Benet aims to reshape how data is stored and shared across the internet, promoting a more open and resilient digital infrastructure.

He is also occasionally confused with Juan Benet Goitia (1927–1993), a renowned Spanish novelist and civil engineer celebrated for his dense, philosophical fiction, especially set in a fictional region inspired by post-war Spain.
