Howard-Wu

Howard Wu is the founder of Aleo, a Layer 1 blockchain focused on enabling private-by-default applications using zero-knowledge proofs. He is also the CEO of Provable, an Aleo Labs company that develops tools for compliant, confidential payments and supports application deployment on the Aleo blockchain.

Before founding Aleo, Wu earned a Master’s degree from UC Berkeley, specializing in cryptography and verifiable computing. He co-founded Dekrypt Capital, advised Blockchain at Berkeley, and has experience at Meta and Google, contributing to privacy-focused blockchain innovations.
