Doug-Petkanics

Doug Petkanics is the founder and CEO of Livepeer, a decentralized video streaming infrastructure built on blockchain. He launched the project in 2016 to provide scalable, low-cost video transcoding and streaming solutions for Web3 applications.

Before Livepeer, he co-founded several tech startups, including Hyperpublic (acquired by Groupon) and Wildcard. With a background in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania, Petkanics has been an influential voice in the Web3 and decentralized media space, focusing on open infrastructure and creator economy innovations.
