David Jiao is the founder and CEO of Privasea AI, a Sweden-based company pioneering privacy-preserving AI infrastructure through Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). With a background in autonomous vehicles and prior leadership at NuLink, Jiao brings deep expertise in encryption and decentralized systems. At Privasea, he launched the ImHuman app, a proof-of-humanity (PoH) solution that verifies users without storing biometric data, enabling secure and bot-resistant identity verification across Web3 platforms.

Under his leadership, Privasea secured $15 million in Series A funding at a $180 million valuation, backed by prominent investors like Binance Labs, OKX Ventures, and GSR. Jiao’s broader vision is to enable self-sovereign digital identity and privacy-first AI computing through DeepSea, Privasea’s FHE-powered decentralized network—positioning the company at the intersection of AI, encryption, and blockchain.
