Daniel-Wang

Daniel Wang is a Chinese software engineer and entrepreneur best known as the founder of Loopring, an Ethereum-based decentralized exchange protocol. Before launching Loopring, he worked as an engineer and tech lead at Google and JD.com, and also co-founded Coinport, a crypto exchange startup that later closed.

Through Loopring, Wang introduced innovations such as ring-matching for better liquidity and later adopted zkRollup technology to scale Ethereum-based trading while keeping it non-custodial. More recently, he has been involved with Layer-2 scaling and zero-knowledge proof projects like Taiko Labs, continuing his focus on blockchain scalability and decentralization.
