Da-Hongfei

Da Hongfei is the co-founder of NEO (originally AntShares), often dubbed “the Chinese Ethereum,” and the founder of Onchain, a blockchain infrastructure company. With a background in English and tech, he entered the crypto space in 2011 and launched NEO in 2014 with Erik Zhang. The project rebranded in 2017 to focus on smart contracts, digital identity, and a “smart economy.”

He’s known for promoting a regulated and enterprise-friendly blockchain environment in China and has recently been exploring the integration of AI into blockchain systems through initiatives like SpoonOS. Da Hongfei remains a leading figure in advancing decentralized tech and shaping global Web3 development.
