Charles-Cascarilla

Charles Cascarilla is the co-founder and CEO of Paxos Trust Company, the regulated blockchain firm behind PAX Gold (PAXG). A finance graduate from the University of Notre Dame, he previously worked in investment management before founding Paxos in 2012 to bring transparency and efficiency to traditional financial systems through blockchain innovation.

Under Cascarilla’s leadership, Paxos became one of the first regulated digital asset companies in New York and launched PAX Gold in 2019—a token fully backed by physical gold held in LBMA-approved vaults. His vision centers on creating trustworthy, asset-backed digital products that connect traditional finance with the blockchain economy.
