André Abreu

André Abreu is the Brazilian-born co-founder of Alaya, a purpose-driven platform that empowers employees to engage in volunteering, donating, and sustainable actions. Originally launching Hope It Up, he merged with Niklas van Neyghem’s initiative in 2018 to form Alaya, based in Switzerland. Under his leadership, Alaya grew rapidly, helping companies boost employee engagement and social impact.

In December 2021, Alaya was acquired by Canadian ESG leader Benevity, where André took on a senior role to help scale the platform’s global impact. His work focuses on making corporate social responsibility more inclusive, data-driven, and employee-led.
