Amrit-Kumar

Amrit Kumar is the co-founder and former President of Zilliqa, the blockchain platform behind the ZIL token. With a PhD in Computer Science and a background in cryptography, he helped design Zilliqa’s sharding architecture and co-developed Scilla, a secure smart contract language. He played a key role in Zilliqa’s early development and technical direction.

After stepping down from Zilliqa in 2022, Amrit became COO of AltLayer and Chairperson at Binarii Labs, focusing on scalable Web3 infrastructure and rollup technologies.
