Alex Smirnov is the co-founder and CEO of deBridge, a cross-chain interoperability and liquidity protocol enabling secure transfers of assets and data across blockchains. With a background in mathematics and physics from Lomonosov Moscow State University, he previously co-founded the blockchain firm Phenom before launching deBridge in 2021.
Under his leadership, deBridge raised $5.5 million in seed funding and went live on mainnet in 2022. Smirnov focuses on building scalable, secure infrastructure for multi-chain communication and DeFi liquidity, positioning deBridge as a key player in the cross-chain ecosystem.
