Yuval Rooz is the co-founder and CEO of Digital Asset, the company behind the Canton Network. He founded Digital Asset in 2014 with a focus on bringing blockchain technology into regulated financial markets, and later led the development of Canton as a public blockchain designed for institutional use with configurable on-chain privacy and interoperability.
Rooz has a background in traditional finance and algorithmic trading, which shaped Canton’s design around compliance, governance, and real-world financial workflows. Under his leadership, the Canton Network has positioned itself as infrastructure for tokenized assets and synchronized financial applications, enabling banks, asset managers, and market infrastructure providers to operate on a shared blockchain while maintaining required privacy and control.
