Artyfact Faces Overwhelming Demand
Artyfact, a blockchain-based GameFi platform, was briefly removed from the Epic Games Store due to an unexpected server overload. The game launched on January 25 and saw such high traffic that its servers crashed. Epic Games temporarily paused new installations, though players who had already downloaded the game could continue playing.
CEO Confirms Server Upgrade
Artyfact CEO Oleg Boytsov assured the community that the team is upgrading to more powerful servers. In a tweet, he said the team is finalizing the migration and will soon request Epic Games to review the game. Once the review is complete, Artyfact will return to the Epic Games Store.
Community Engagement and Future Plans
Artyfact is a Web3 gaming platform integrating NFTs, AI-driven gameplay, and a play-to-earn model. Built on Unreal Engine 5, it operates using the ARTY token, which is tradable on major exchanges like OKX, KuCoin, and Bybit.
The game’s return to the Epic Games Store will mark a major milestone, reinforcing its position in the growing blockchain gaming space.
