The Dex223 team has announced an upgrade for their D223 token, which was initially sold during the Dex223 ICO. This upgrade introduces a new version of the token, and Dex223 urges users to transition from the old token to ensure continued functionality and exchange listings.
- Old and New Contracts: The current token contract will no longer be supported. Users should transition to the new contract at 0x0908…80dd.
- Upgrade Process: To upgrade, users must send their existing D223 tokens to the upgrade contract at 0xb9e8…7101, with a gas limit of 90,000.
- Future UI for Non-Experts: A dedicated interface for easy upgrades will soon be available on Dex223.io.
How to Upgrade Your D223 Tokens
To upgrade, users can send their tokens from any wallet to the specified upgrade contract. Once the transaction is complete, the upgrade contract automatically returns the new D223 tokens to the user’s wallet. An example of a completed transaction can be viewed on Etherscan.
After receiving the new tokens, users should import the new D223 contract address—0x0908…80dd—into their wallet to complete the transition.
